McAnulty, Stacy

Stacy McAnulty is a children’s book author, who used to be a mechanical engineer, and who dreams of being an astronaut. She’s written over twenty-five books, including her middle-grade novels The World Ends in April and The Miscalculations of Lightning Girl, which was an Indie Bestseller and winner of the Mathical Book Prize. Her picture books include Earth! My First 4.54 Billion Years,Moon! Earth’s Best Friend, Max Explains Everything: Puppy Expert, and the Ezra Jack Keats New Writer Honor Excellent Ed. She’s also authored two chapter book series. Originally from upstate NY, she now lives in NC.

2. I share my home office with 3 dogs. I’d love to adopt another, but my children say we have enough.
